ResumePH ("we", "us") operates resumephilippines.com, an online tool that formats resumes for the Philippine job market. This policy explains what personal data we handle and why. We act as a Personal Information Controller under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173).
We only receive what you choose to put into the tool. That typically includes:
Because some users apply for overseas work, resume content may include passport, visa, licence, or seafarer document details. Please include only what the employer or agency actually requires.
We do not receive or store your card number, CVV, or bank credentials. Payment is completed on our payment provider's own hosted page. We only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded or failed.
We do not sell your data, rent it, or use it for advertising, and we do not send marketing email unless you have asked us to.
To produce your resume, the text you provide is transmitted to Anthropic PBC (the Claude API) for formatting. It is processed to return your resume and is not used to train their models. Payment is handled by our third-party payment provider under its own privacy policy. Our website and database are hosted by Hostinger International Ltd.
This means your data may be processed on servers outside the Philippines. By using the service you consent to that cross-border transfer, as permitted under RA 10173.
An uploaded PDF or DOCX is read once to extract its text and is not retained on our servers. Only the extracted text is kept, as part of your resume record.
Resume records are retained so that you can return and re-download a resume you paid for. If you want your record deleted sooner, ask us using the contact below and we will delete it. Anonymous technical logs are kept for security purposes.
Under RA 10173 you have the right to be informed, to object, to access your data, to correct it, to have it erased or blocked, to data portability, and to claim damages. To exercise any of these, contact us with your resume reference number (format RPH-XXXXXXXX). We will respond within a reasonable period.
You may also lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission at privacy.gov.ph.
The site is served over HTTPS, credentials are kept outside the public web root, and administrative pages require authentication. No system is perfectly secure, so please avoid including sensitive details your employer has not asked for.
The service is intended for users of legal working age in the Philippines. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 15.
